As the center for our STEM programs, Samuel Read Hall offers innovative, hands-on facilities to bring the world of healthcare to life. You’ll learn in real-world settings like our nursing simulation center, Hospital Room Lab, and Human Factors & Ergonomics Lab. You’ll get to experience what it’s like to care for patients in a safe, high-tech learning environment. Our already transformative facilities are being newly renovated. Just wait and see.

Student Life is all about finding your people. PSU has over 100 clubs and organizations to fill your free time with fun, adventure, and meaning. As a Panther, you’re part of a close community that comes together to celebrate one another. We have annual traditions you’ll look forward to every year. The iconic clock tower resting atop Rounds Hall serves as a visual anchor and landmark for the university and the town of Plymouth alike. It’s one of the oldest buildings on campus and home to one of PSU’s most beloved traditions—the mysterious appearance of two pumpkins atop the spires of the clock tower every October. Inside the Draper & Maynard Building is our Makerspace and Robotics Lab, a state-of-the-industry facility preparing the next generation of innovative makers and tech pioneers. Here, you will bring new creations to life through wood, plastic, plasma, metal, 3D printers, pipe benders, and more. And our cutting-edge Robotics Lab teaches you to design, program, and build a wide range of robots and other autonomous systems that will change the world.

The Human Performance Center provides cutting-edge resources, facilities, and equipment to help you thrive in a health performance career. Our interactive classrooms provide you with practical, hands-on skills and experience. You’ll conduct your own research and learn to use sophisticated instruments. These innovative learning environments help you crush it in fields like Athletic Training, Exercise & Sport Physiology, and Adventure Education.

After a long day of classes, there’s nothing better than kicking back in your comfy digs. First-year students live their shared experience in one of five first-year residence halls. Upper-level students can choose from living in suite-style communities or fully furnished on-campus apartments. With billiards and table tennis, kitchens, and study lounges, your residence hall is your home away from home where you’ll meet lifelong friends.

All work and no play is no good. There are countless ways to get out, get to know the campus, explore the surrounding region, and find your people. You’ll have year-round access to some of the nation’s best hiking, skiing, swimming, rock climbing, camping, and biking. Need some gear? No problem. Plymouth’s Main Street is the quintessential New England town, but it will also be your college town. It’s an extension of campus where you can grab coffee, meet friends, shop, or enjoy a meal. You’ll find lively sports pubs, fabulous delicatessens (ask for your free sub on your birthday at Biederman’s), and bistros—all along the picturesque Pemigewasset River.
